1. Do you have to be a dentist to do Teeth Whitening?
We do not claim to be dentists nor dental hygienists. This will NOT replace any dentist practice. This process is considered as a cosmetic treatment. It is gentle and considered a self-administrated treatment assisted by a trained technician. It is accelerated with a UV light for 20 minutes.
2. Is Teeth Whitening harmful?
Recent scientific research by the University of Leuven, in Belgium, has shown that when the teeth are normal and healthy, there are no adverse effects on the tooth enamel. Furthermore, North American White Smile ensures the recommended strength.
3. What kind of substance do you use?
We use 35% Carbamide Peroxide Whitening Gel, the same safe ingredients as dentist use.
4. Can everyone have their teeth whitened?

No. People that are too young or have used medicines such as tetracycline are not eligible for the treatment. Also any discoloration or stains resulting from decalcification; such as excessive use of fluorides and porous teeth will have limited results from the treatment. People born with grey teeth will likewise gain little benefit from the treatment.

However, it may be assumed that North American White Smile will have a positive effect for 90% of users, though it is advisable for the teeth to be in good condition and without cavities.

5. How long does the bleaching process take?
Results depend on the individual characteristics of each person. Like age and the grade of discoloration, but most people usually see results after the first treatment. Optimal results are achieved after 2 to 3 treatments (20 minutes each) depending on personal parameters as described above.
6. Is this whitening process permanent?
No, Your teeth have become stained in the first place from consuming foods and beverages. Upon the completion of your bleaching process, your teeth are closely restored to their natural white color. Exposure to foods, drinks (especially coffee, colas and red wines), smoking and other consumables will gradually darken teeth again over time. You may want to periodically bleach your teeth. (Once a year) After an initial treatment, most people do touch-ups with our maintenance pen.
